We are here to help with Google Classroom Support while also having fun with Connect Sports to break up the day. We will get them on their google classroom at the correct times as well as communicate with their teacher.

K-8th Grade

Due to the government guidelines we will be conducting temperature screening for each student and teacher as well as practicing guidelines from the CDC on Phase II reopening aimed at camps and schools.  This involves temperature checks every morning and at lunch, limiting sharing of equipment during STEAM/Art/Sports, sanitizing equipment, wearing a face covering as well as agreeing to our safe practices policies. Also to keep your child safe we will ONLY be letting a max of 24 students in per week. These will be split into 2 groups of 12 and all students will be a minimum 6ft away from each other when working on their chromebook.

Your child MUST be registered for the week to join us.  We will NOT be taking daily drop-ins.

Coweta County will be asking you to sign an AUP form for permission for internet, photo and video use and capture.  Please indicate below if you have signed that and give the County permission.  If you indicate no, we will make sure that their webcam is off.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

In consideration of being allowed to participate on behalf of Connect Virtual Classroom Support programs and related events, activities, and general use of facilities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:

  1. Participation includes possible exposure to an illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
  2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF OTHERS and assume full responsibility for my participation;
  3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and
  4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS Connect Sports, (who operates Connect After school/Virtual Classroom Support) and  their officers, officials, agents, volunteers, contracted instructors and/or employees, other participants, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT/ACKNOWLEDGING, AND SIGN/ACKNOWLEDGE IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

I agree not to hold Connect After School and the TMS, its employees or any staff member liable for any injury that occurs to my child during Connect School Programs. *Both Connect and each Outside Vendor carries their own insurance policy.
I understand that if my child is picked up after 3:30 PM that we have a 10 minute grace period. At 3:40PM I will be charged a late pickup fee of $1 per minute up to 4:00PM PM.

At 4:00 PM - If we are unable to contact the parents/guardians, Social services will be called.
